When Kate was 4 years old that time when she started to school at Colegio, she was on Level1 that time when she memorized their morning prayer before the class started. I am so grateful to hear those wonderful prayer that she knew. With her clear pronunciation, I am so happy that she able to learn those words exactly at her young age. Later I knew that it was the prayer of all students studied in their school.

I will share to you their wonderful morning prayer:

Dear God

What a loving and generous Father you are,

I thank you for giving me another day for sharing my love

To my teachers, classmates and friends

I offer you my thoughts, my actions today

Teach me to love you more,

Amen

My kids are too picky on the foods they eat. That’s maybe my problems now as to choosing the right food with them. I want them to eat more on nutritious foods found on vegetables and fruits but they were more choosy when it comes to their taste. Sometimes, I forced them to eat rice match with soup and it’s more effective .

With so many ads on televisions that says easy to cook and they are more eager to eat easy to ccok food like instant noodles, hotdogs, tocinos. Well, those foods are still good  sometimes but  I just want them to eat some fresh veggies and fruits  to be able to get all  the  nutrients on fresh foods.

Mothers always want the best for their kids and so I am finding ways on how to feed them the exact food which is right for them.

Kate is quite independent now. She is now in grade two and she can study her lessons very well. I always keep on reminding her to study her lessons very well to be able to maintain her good grades and be always a consistent honor. She knows to read well, be able to pronounce the word correctly and quite good to spell out words. She’s really a fast learner.

By this time, she was one as the chosen from her class to deliver a speech and I’m happy for her coz she was qualified for the elimination. Well, that’s a good chance for her to expose and experience on facing the crowd. I like the way she did of exposing herself in facing people. Even if she will not be the winner but exposure is the best for students like her. She also joined the Chinese speech. How I wish she can make it also.

I am just wishing her all the good things for my one and only daughter and aiming that she will gained more confidence to herself.

What a wonderful day with my kids today. They woke up this morning as early as 6 am then they go hurriedly to the park and running around. After 15 minutes, they took their breakfast and right after they watch their favourite cartoon movies Pokemon which was I bought recently.

Pokemon is one of the most fascinating game that they were hooked right now. They really rendered time to finished all the movies in one CD  but I limit their time coz I’m worried if they will take so much time on watching dvds to make their eyes rest for awhile by playing in the playground.

Here are some captured photos taken from Kate’s birthday.Her simple birthday party makes her so happy all day long.The party was informal and  well not prepared. I just amazed when more than 30 kids were there but so happy that they enjoyed the party and with a smile receiving Kate’s party bags.

Everytime we have birthday occasion in our house it is a must that I have to cook best spaghetti for my kids. They all love taste of it. After cooking spag , they can take it more or less 2 plates at at time.

Spaghetti Ingredients:

· 1 kg. spaghetti noodles

· 1/2 kg. ground beef

· 1/2 kg. ground pork

· 1/4 kg. hotdogs, diagonally sliced

· 1 kg. tomato sauce

· 3 pieces laurel leaves (bay leaves)

· 1/4 cup brown or white sugar

· 2 green bell peppers, diced

· 2 onions, chopped

· 1 head garlic, minced

· 3 tablespoons of cooking oil

· 1 cup of water

· Salt and pepper to taste

· 1/2 cup grated cheese

Spaghetti Cooking Instructions:

· Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.

· In a sauce pan or wok, sauté garlic and onions in cooking oil.

· Add ground beef, ground pork, laurel leaves, bell pepper and a cup of water. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes.

· Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste then let simmer for another 10 minutes

· Add brown sugar and hotdogs. Continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Serve with the cooked spaghetti noodles and grated cheese on top

This is really the favourite foodstuff for my kids coz everytime we go window shopping they would really take me to some food chain that serves delicious spaghetti
